LUISA ALBERTO
MAKEUP ARTIST

My interest in cosmetics began in childhood. I vividly remember one night as a five-year-old, watching my mother by the window of our sixth-floor Bronx apartment, tears rolling down her face. I asked if I could do her makeup, hoping to ease her pain. Though my application was far from perfect, I brought a smile to her face that night. That moment sparked a lifelong desire: to make women feel confident and beautiful through the art of makeup.

From that early curiosity to my adult passion, I have dedicated myself to mastering the skills and knowledge necessary to become a professional makeup artist. Beyond technical expertise, my work requires patience, compassion, and genuine care. I take the time to listen, observe, and understand my clients, ensuring each experience is tailored to their needs. These values form the foundation of my craft, and I have been fortunate to bring them to my clients over twenty years of experience.

I am of Latino descent; both my parents are from Honduras, Central America. I was born in the Bronx, New York, raised primarily in Chelsea, MA, and now reside in Lawrence, MA. I am a Chelsea High School graduate and pursued higher education at Wentworth Institute of Technology, earning an Associate’s degree in Building Construction Management and a Bachelor’s in Project Management Construction. I currently work full-time as a Project Manager.

In late 2014, I traveled to the Dominican Republic and enrolled in an academic program at Leomar Institute in Santiago, earning a Master’s in Cut and Color. During my two-year extended stay, I also taught professional makeup classes and authored an E-book, How to Makeup from 0-100, which I currently sell through my shop.

My ambition, vision, and drive are limitless. I am truly in love with my craft—obsessed, dedicated, and fully invested in every project I take on, whether large or small. I believe art comes in many forms, and enhancing beauty is my calling. Let me enhance yours.
